1. Preparation before starting. Every time before starting the engine, it is necessary to check whether the cooling water or antifreeze in the water tank of the diesel engine is sufficient, and if it is missing, it must be filled up. Pull out the oil dipstick to check whether there is any shortage of lubricating oil. If there is any shortage, add it to the specified "static full" scale line, and then carefully check whether there are hidden troubles in the relevant components.
2. It is strictly forbidden to start the diesel engine with load. Before starting the diesel engine, it should be noted that the output air switch of the generator must be in the closed state. After the diesel engine of ordinary generator set is started, it needs to idle for 3-5 minutes (about 700 rpm). In winter, the temperature is low, and the idle running time should be extended for a few minutes. After the diesel engine is started, it is first necessary to observe whether the oil pressure is normal and whether there is any abnormal phenomenon such as oil leakage or water leakage. (Under normal circumstances, the oil pressure must be above 0.2MPa). If any abnormality is found, it must be shut down for inspection immediately. If there is no abnormal phenomenon, increase the diesel engine speed to the rated speed of 1500 rpm, at this time, the generator display frequency is 50HZ, and the voltage is 400V, then the output air switch can be closed and put into use. The generator set is not allowed to run without load for a long time. (Because long-term no-load operation will cause the diesel fuel injected by the diesel engine injector to be unable to burn completely, resulting in carbon deposits, resulting in valve and piston ring air leakage.) If it is an automatic generator set, it does not need to run at idle speed, because the automatic generator set generally Equipped with a water heater to keep the diesel engine cylinder at around 45°C, and the diesel engine can be powered normally within 8-15 seconds after starting.
3. Pay attention to observe the working status in operation. When the generator set is working, there must be a special person on duty, and always pay attention to observe a series of possible failures, especially pay attention to the changes of important factors such as oil pressure, water temperature, oil temperature, voltage, and frequency. In addition, pay attention to having enough diesel oil. If the fuel oil is interrupted during operation, it will objectively cause the load to stop, which may cause damage to the generator excitation control system and related components.
4. It is strictly forbidden to stop with load. Before stopping each time, the load must be cut off gradually, then the output air switch of the generator set should be turned off, and the diesel engine should be decelerated to idle speed for about 3-5 minutes before stopping.
