On May 16, 2019, the thirteenth working meeting of the second session of the electric vehicle power battery working group was successfully held in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. 150 expert representatives from various units participated in this meeting, which was hosted by China Automotive Technology and Research Center Co., Ltd.
Wang Xueping, deputy director of the Standards Institute of China Automobile Center, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. In his speech, he first expressed his gratitude to all experts for their strong support for standardization work on behalf of the Standards Institute. At the same time, he combined with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "2019 New Energy Vehicle Standardization Work Points" and stated that the working group should focus on the research, formulation and revision of key standard projects, and earnestly lead the automotive industry with high standards High-quality development.
At the meeting, the Secretariat reviewed the standardization of electric vehicle power batteries in the first half of 2019, and made two new standards for GB "Safety Requirements for Power Batteries for Electric Vehicles" and GB/T "Technical Conditions for Battery Management Systems for Electric Vehicles". The status of the application for approval and the work plan for the next step were introduced. Subsequently, the meeting focused on introducing the two draft standards of GB/T "Technical Requirements for Hybrid Power Supply for Electric Vehicles" and QC/T "Sealing Requirements and Test Methods for Battery Pack Liquid Cooling System". and test methods etc. were discussed thoroughly. In addition, this meeting also focused on the exchange of the implementation plan of Appendix C of GB "Safety Requirements for Traction Batteries for Electric Vehicles".
