The world's largest electric vehicle fast charging station put into operation in Shenzhen

Recently, 172 new fast charging piles were added to Shenzhen Minle Charging Station, which was officially put into operation. So far, the electric vehicle charging station operated by three units including China Southern Power Grid has 637 fast charging piles and covers an area of 20,000 square meters, making it the largest electric vehicle fast charging station in the world.
Minle Charging Station is located in Longhua District, Shenzhen, and can provide charging services for nearly 5,000 electric vehicles every day. As one of the three major operators, China Southern Power Grid Corporation is responsible for the operation of 327 fast charging piles, among which 70 newly built 60kW DC charging piles use a new type of constant power charging module, which can meet the charging current and voltage requirements of all vehicles on the market . "The charging speed of these 70 new DC charging piles is about 20% to 30% faster than that of ordinary fast charging piles." Chen Haozhou, deputy director of China Southern Power Grid Electric Vehicle Service Co., Ltd., introduced.
According to reports, China Southern Power Grid has invested a total of 3.1 billion yuan to build about 23,000 charging piles, covering major cities in five southern provinces. 94,800 units, and this year plans to build 8,000 new charging piles.
